Upper respiratory infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the upper respiratory tract (nose, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, or trachea).

Urethral infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the urethra.

Urinary tract infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the urinary tract, most commonly the bladder and the urethra.

Uterine infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the endometrium. It may extend to the myometrium and parametrial tissues.

Vaginal infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the vagina.

Viremia

A disorder characterized by the presence of a virus in the blood stream.

Vulval infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the vulva.

Wound infection

A disorder characterized by an infectious process involving the wound.

Papulopustular rash

A disorder characterized by an eruption consisting of papules (a small, raised pimple) and pustules (a small pus filled blister), typically appearing in face, scalp, and upper chest and back. Unlike acne, this rash does not present with whiteheads or blackheads, and can be symptomatic, with itchy or tender lesions.
